How do I know if my dog needs a coat?
How do I know if my dog needs a coat?
Shivering or reluctance to keep walking can indicate that your dog is cold. Small, short-haired, and senior dogs may benefit from a well-fitting coat. If your dog shows discomfort, head indoors; a coat does not replace limiting cold exposure.
What temperature is too cold for my dog?
What temperature is too cold for my dog?
There is no single temperature cutoff for every dog. Cold tolerance depends on coat, size, age, health, wind, moisture, and exposure time. Short-haired dogs may need an extra layer. In freezing weather, shorten walks and watch for discomfort.
What happens if my dog gets wet during a walk?
What happens if my dog gets wet during a walk?
Wet clothing can make your dog colder. A waterproof raincoat helps keep covered areas dry, but does not necessarily provide insulation. After a wet walk, dry your dog and remove damp clothing. Head indoors if your dog shivers or seems uncomfortable.
Most dog raincoats are bulky, impossible to pack, and forgotten at home on the one day it pours — this one solves all three problems.
The GF Pet US Army Packable Waterproof Dog Raincoat folds into its own pocket for easy carrying on any walk or trip. Military-inspired design meets practical waterproof performance. Available in sizes S through 2XL.
- Safety: Full back and belly coverage — no exposed areas where rain soaks through to skin
- Durability: Packable ripstop fabric resists tears, snags, and water without adding bulk
- Easy to use: Folds into its own integrated pocket — pack it, forget it, deploy it when needed
- Coverage: US Army-inspired cut with extended belly guard — protects more than standard raincoats
Pack it. Deploy it. Keep your dog dry. Choose your size and never get caught unprepared again.

Love this for my puppy. It doesn't rain here often but when it does this works perfectly.
