Shipping
Q: How much does shipping cost?
A: Shipping is always free on all orders delivered within the United States. No minimum purchase required.
Q: How long does it take to process and ship my order?
A: Orders are processed within 1-3 business days. Once shipped, standard delivery takes 4-8 business days. Global Finds items follow a different timeline — see the Global Finds section below.
Q: Where do your products ship from?
A: Most of our catalog is fulfilled from U.S.-based logistics warehouses and distribution partners. Global Finds items are the exception: they are sourced through international supplier networks and ship separately from the rest of your order.
Q: Will my items arrive in a single package?
A: Because your order may be fulfilled from multiple U.S.-based warehouses, items in the same purchase may arrive in separate packages. If your order includes a Global Finds item, it will always ship separately with its own tracking number. You will receive a tracking number via email for each shipment.
Q: What should I do if my item arrives damaged?
A: Contact us immediately at admin@cancatstore.us to file a claim. Please save all packaging materials and the damaged item, and include clear photos — we will verify the issue with our logistics partner and process your replacement or refund.
Global Finds
Q: What is Global Finds?
A: Global Finds is a separate collection of pet products sourced through international supplier networks rather than our U.S.-based warehouses. These are typically unique or hard-to-find items that aren't part of our standard domestic catalog.
Q: How is Global Finds different from the rest of the catalog?
A: Global Finds items ship separately from your other items with their own tracking number, take longer to arrive (15-30 calendar days instead of 4-8 business days), and follow a different return policy: no change-of-mind returns, but damaged, defective, incorrect, or non-delivered items are covered.
Q: Why does Global Finds take longer to arrive?
A: Global Finds items are sourced through international supplier networks rather than our domestic warehouses, so total transit time is longer and may include customs clearance. Estimated delivery is 15 to 30 calendar days from your order date, combining processing and transit.
Q: Can I return a Global Finds item if I change my mind?
A: No. Global Finds items are not eligible for change-of-mind returns, because they can't be economically returned to the fulfilling warehouse. Damaged, defective, incorrect, or non-delivered items are covered — contact us at admin@cancatstore.us and we'll arrange a replacement or refund.

Q: What is your return policy?
A: We accept returns within 14 days of delivery. Items must be unused and in their original packaging. Proof of purchase is required. Personalized items cannot be returned unless defective. Global Finds items follow a separate policy — see the Global Finds section above.
Q: Can I return a product if my pet does not like it?
A: Yes. If your pet shows no interest in a product, you may return it within 14 days of delivery as long as the item is unused and in its original packaging. This applies to our standard catalog; Global Finds items are not eligible for change-of-mind returns. Contact us at admin@cancatstore.us.
Q: How long does a refund take?
A: Refunds are processed within 5-10 business days after we receive your returned item.

Q: Are your products safe and non-toxic for kittens and puppies?
A: Yes. All CanCatStore products are made from pet-safe, non-toxic materials including food-grade stainless steel, BPA-free plastics, food-grade silicone, and premium non-toxic fabrics. Safe for cats and dogs of all ages.
Q: What materials are CanCatStore feeding products made from?
A: Slow feeder bowls use BPA-free silicone and food-grade plastic. Elevated feeders use food-grade stainless steel bowls. All materials are free from phthalates, lead, and toxic coatings.
Slow Feeder & Feeding
Q: What is a slow feeder dog bowl and why does my dog need one?
A: A slow feeder dog bowl has maze-like ridges that force your dog to eat more slowly. Dogs that eat too fast risk bloat (gastric dilatation), choking, and digestive upset. Slow feeders extend mealtime from under 30 seconds to 3-5 minutes, reducing bloat risk. Recommended by vets for Labradors, Golden Retrievers, and Beagles.
Q: How do I clean a slow feeder dog bowl?
A: Most slow feeder bowls are dishwasher-safe on the top rack. For hand washing, use warm soapy water and a soft brush. Clean after every meal. Our 4-in-1 slow feeder bowl is fully dishwasher-safe.
Dog Boots & Apparel
Q: How do I measure my dog for boots?
A: (1) Place paw on paper and trace; (2) Measure widest point across the paw; (3) Measure from back of paw to tip of longest nail. Use the larger measurement. When between sizes, size up.
Q: Are dog boots good for hot pavement in summer?
A: Yes. Pavement can reach 140-160 degrees F on hot days — enough to cause paw burns in 60 seconds. If you cannot hold your hand on pavement for 5 seconds, it is too hot for your dog without boots.

Q: Do you offer products for both cats and dogs?
A: Yes. CanCatStore carries accessories for both cats and dogs: slow feeder and elevated feeding bowls, all-terrain and neoprene dog boots, reflective and LED safety collars, no-pull harnesses, memory foam pet beds, waterless grooming powder and odor-control sprays, and travel gear like seat covers and tethers.
