How do I know if my dog needs a coat?
How do I know if my dog needs a coat?
Shivering or reluctance to keep walking can indicate that your dog is cold. Small, short-haired, and senior dogs may benefit from a well-fitting coat. If your dog shows discomfort, head indoors; a coat does not replace limiting cold exposure.
What temperature is too cold for my dog?
What temperature is too cold for my dog?
There is no single temperature cutoff for every dog. Cold tolerance depends on coat, size, age, health, wind, moisture, and exposure time. Short-haired dogs may need an extra layer. In freezing weather, shorten walks and watch for discomfort.
What happens if my dog gets wet during a walk?
What happens if my dog gets wet during a walk?
Wet clothing can make your dog colder. A waterproof raincoat helps keep covered areas dry, but does not necessarily provide insulation. After a wet walk, dry your dog and remove damp clothing. Head indoors if your dog shivers or seems uncomfortable.
Your dog needs a raincoat that actually goes on without a struggle — and comes in a color that makes them visible on the darkest rainy days.

It fits just right and is highly visible.
Got this coat for my dog and it is adorable - seems very well made and is water resistant
When I saw the raincoat version of this jacket I knew I had to purchase. I already have the winter version of this jacket for my cockapoo. The fit is great with the velcro closures that easily adjust, and the rear pull tabs that provide just enough cling to the tush so the jacket doesn’t fly up when the dog is walking. Haven’t tried it out yet but we are expecting a stretch of rainy weather and this will come in handy keeping my pooch dry. Great products, terrific customer service
I have a Podenco breed, shorter than the medium but longer than the small. I bought this medium and stitched darts in each side. Fits perfect now!
Love this raincoat for our pup. The material is light and durable and easy to wipe. The length is perfect and keeps him dry so there's less drying for me to do. Love the fun reversible aspect of it too. He receives lots of compliments when wearing this jacket!
