How do I know if my dog needs a coat?
How do I know if my dog needs a coat?
Shivering or reluctance to keep walking can indicate that your dog is cold. Small, short-haired, and senior dogs may benefit from a well-fitting coat. If your dog shows discomfort, head indoors; a coat does not replace limiting cold exposure.
What temperature is too cold for my dog?
What temperature is too cold for my dog?
There is no single temperature cutoff for every dog. Cold tolerance depends on coat, size, age, health, wind, moisture, and exposure time. Short-haired dogs may need an extra layer. In freezing weather, shorten walks and watch for discomfort.
What happens if my dog gets wet during a walk?
What happens if my dog gets wet during a walk?
Wet clothing can make your dog colder. A waterproof raincoat helps keep covered areas dry, but does not necessarily provide insulation. After a wet walk, dry your dog and remove damp clothing. Head indoors if your dog shivers or seems uncomfortable.
Reversible protection for all seasons. The GF Pet Reversible Waterproof Raincoat in navy offers a dual-sided design with both waterproof and warm options on each side. Built for unpredictable weather.
Adjustable hood, reflective piping, Elasto-Fit stretch. Sizes 2XS–4XL.

It’s almost impossible to find things to fit a French Bulldog…however, this raincoat fits!
The fit and finish.
Perfect fit!
We loved it, it fit perfectly (size 4XL) for our GS, and is very comfortable for him, he likes it!
Very satisfied with my purchase. It's challenging for me to find a jacket that fits my 'beefy' dog but the accurate size chart helps me to choose the proper size for him. The raincoat is stylish and keeps my dog dry.
I wish I had found GF Pet sooner. Typically to get the chest large enough the coat is way too long at his underbelly (which was fine for my female). This coat is perfect. The elasticize design at the closures around the arms works really well, allowing movement while keeping coverage maximized.
It fits beautifully, love the versatility of the reversible coat.
I got my 58 pound bernedoodle a 3xl. The 2xl was too short, the 3xl is slight to large in the chest but the length was more important for us and is perfect now. Very easy on and off, grateful to find a rain jack I don't have to slide his head into.
The product corresponds to what you see and read on the website. It is well made. It hugs my dog well and yes it is better to take a larger size in case of doubt b
This raincoat is well made and is top quality. My long-haired German Shepherd looks so cute (and dry!) in it. As previous reviews suggested, I’m glad I bought the next larger size as it fits her length perfectly.
Amazing quality, butter soft feel. Fits beautifully and keeps my pup dry in the wet weather. Simply, Love!
Glad I read the reviews to help me order the correct size for my Havanese. Love the ease of the Velcro fastening. Very pleased with the quality of product.
My pup looks super adorable in this jacket and it looks well made!
Looks great and fits great, love it.
This raincoat is amazing and love that it`s reversible INCLUDING the reflective trim which I presently use when walking my puppy at night.
Reversible Raincoat - Navy
I purchased this jacket (xl) for my medium size rescue pit bull mix and it fits him perfectly. He is around 48 lbs - bigger chest, smaller waist.
Great quality raincoat, highly recommend.
I'm so happy to have bought this. Very good quality raincoat ( same as people raincoats) that kept my beagle nice and dry the other day when there was wet snow falling and he looked so handsome too. Fits him like a glove. Easy quick on and off, easy cleaning. I recommended it to other beagle owners.
Fantastic raincoat. Great quality and price. Had to do a return and they made it super easy and fast. Love this company!
Remi is a huge dog 100lbs and has a huge chest. So glad we found this coat, it fits him perfectly
BC Atmospheric River Events are NO MATCH for the GF Pet Reversible Raincoat. Thanks so much for keeping Tigger's back, chest and belly dry. GF Pet Raincoat 1, BC Atmospheric River 0.
Now if you could just make the coat in my size . . .

Easy to put on and take off. Fits over a harness and keeps my beagle warm in damp weather. It also looks great! Highly recommend.
I absolutely love this reversible raincoat.. I bought a red one for one of my dogs and ordered the blue for my larger dog. The store was out of his size. This raincoat is so well made. Lots of attention to detail. I love the light reflecting edging for nighttime. They look great on my pups! They are the best raincoats!
Our raincoat was just delivered today so we haven't actually used it in the rain yet, but I am very impressed with the fit and design. Strong velcro pieces to hold it in place, and it even has a velcro piece to hold up the hood when not in use. No need to put your dog's arms, legs, or head through any holes. The medium is a perfect fit for my 18lb mini schnauzer. You can tell that a lot of thought was put into it.
I love that I finally found a raincoat to fit my blue tick coons hounds body type:)
Love this coat and my pup adjusted so quick to the fit. I wish he had one in every colour!
Super
Reversible Raincoat — Navy
I followed the measurements according to the chart and I wish I ordered 1 size larger because the coat does not cover the whole back (5 inch short).
