How do I know if my dog needs a coat?
How do I know if my dog needs a coat?
Shivering or reluctance to keep walking can indicate that your dog is cold. Small, short-haired, and senior dogs may benefit from a well-fitting coat. If your dog shows discomfort, head indoors; a coat does not replace limiting cold exposure.
What temperature is too cold for my dog?
What temperature is too cold for my dog?
There is no single temperature cutoff for every dog. Cold tolerance depends on coat, size, age, health, wind, moisture, and exposure time. Short-haired dogs may need an extra layer. In freezing weather, shorten walks and watch for discomfort.
What happens if my dog gets wet during a walk?
What happens if my dog gets wet during a walk?
Wet clothing can make your dog colder. A waterproof raincoat helps keep covered areas dry, but does not necessarily provide insulation. After a wet walk, dry your dog and remove damp clothing. Head indoors if your dog shivers or seems uncomfortable.

Love the jacket! Is great quality and he looks so cute in it! Very fast shipping! It is a little hard lining up the velcro when closing with the cinching. Fit is good but wish it was a little bit longer as my golden is long and it doesn’t quite cover his back right to his tail but otherwise am happy with purchase!
Easy to put on and perfect fit
Great fit and superior quality too. True kelly green colour.
I had tried to find a coat for my great Pyrenees who developed a thyroid issue and her coat did not grow correctly. She has some patches of fur, but not a full coat. Midwest winter does not work for a hairless dog. This coat actually fits. Thank you.
I love the fit! It’s perfect she seems to love it too. Great quality I will be buying another. To help others Anastasia is 42lbs -girth 26 inches -length 20 inches I purchased a XL. It’s perfect!
I liked the quality of material and design. It is very easy to put on my puppy. On purposely I selected a bigger size (usually size S or M but bought L) so that the raincoat can cover his back fully. It's big on him but I can make it tighter by using the codes.
Thanks for an awesome raincoat! Keeps Kona dry and fits perfect.
They fit great and really do keep ours dogs dry
This jacket is so cute and practical. The small fits my 10lb chihuahua perfectly and he can wear a hoodie or his base layer underneath on chilly rain days. The hood is generous and can be adjusted to provide custom protection. Lots of compliments!
These raincoats are the best I have found in 30 years. Easy on and off, soft and flexible and easy to care for. I just pop them in the washer on the gentle cycle and gang to dry. They are so good my dogs have 2 each. I highly recommend this product.
my goldie pup is long but slim. the chest is way too big for her at XXXL, but we didn’t pick XXL, because is way to short for her length.
Design of this coat is great, great material too. however, I hope the velco on the chest area can be adjusted more.
Loved how it looks, and how it kept by Basset Hound dry. Top to bottom.
Love the raincoat…it looks so pretty in my baby Yara. It has a good quality and will do really good here in Vancouver ;) Tnks!
